FOUNDERS
Nabil (George) Guirguis
Guirguis is a descended of the Copts who immigrated to USA seeking freedom of speech, freedom of practicing religion, equal opportunities, and to gain ability to do more clinical research to answer so many unknown clinical issues that affect the kidney and dialysis patients in USA and around the world. Guirguis was born in Ain Shams,Cairo, Egypt.
Ain Shams is the ancient Heliopolis, the site of the oldest “university” in history called since earliest Pharaonic times, “On”.

"On" University
And a walking distance from “Mary’s Tree” on the footsteps of the Holy Family.

--Mary's Tree--
As a devoted Coptic American now, Dr. Guirguis, who has practiced medicine for 23 years, has seen an increased need for nonprofit support for kidney and dialysis patients nationally and around the world, particularly for West Virginians and the Copts.
Nancy White
A West Virginian kidney and dialysis patient and a true social activist.
An educated and freedom loving West Virginian who devoted her life to her family and to advance the kidney and dialysis care in our service area.Nancy is a motivating energy that shines at anyone. Nancy had a long career in the Fairmont College of nursing, court transcription, medical transcription, and social work in support of the human societies. Nancy is the great force behind the creation of the KERF and stood behind it even at a time that Nancy, her family or I thought she might not make it. Nancy is suffering from Kidney and dialysis illnesses but this did not hold her back from thinking about her fellow humans in West Virginia and around the world. Nancy is the patient's advocate for kidney and dialysis patients of Gentle Dialysis Center.
The picture was taken on Sept 1 2010 at Fairmont General Hospital in Fairmont West Virginia.
Sept 1st, 2010 was designated the
Dialysis Day of the North Centeral W. Va.
